*Salon Policy*

Group Booking Appointments

With multiple services and group bookings we do require prepaid deposit for 50% of all services booked.  We hold the deposit in your Hiz & Herz account, which will be reimbursed to the purchaser if not used the day of services.  The amount can be dispersed to pay partial or full payment of group services at the request of the purchaser.  If the contact person (purchaser) will be graciously providing full payment for all services of guest, or payment will be handled individually, the wedding coordinator will need this information in advance.

Three or More People Booking Services Together - Our policy is to take a deposit for 1/2 of the total services booked at the time the appointments are made, with the balance due one week before the scheduled event. We have a one-week cancellation policy for group bookings of three or more people, which means that if you need to cancel or change any of the scheduled appointments for your group it would need to be done 7 days prior to your event date. You would be responsible to pay for any cancellations or changes made less than 7 days prior to your event date if we cannot rebook the service times with someone else. You will be called one week before the event date to check for any changes to the scheduled appointments, and then the balance due will be taken. If any gift certificates are being used for any of the appointments and appropriate notice of cancellation is not given, the certificates would be forfeited. Cancellation of a large party booking when cancelled more than one week prior to the scheduled event is also subject to a 10% cancellation fee.


Smoking is not permitted in the Salon or Spa. There is a designated Smoking Area for Smokers.


Should a cancellation be necessary for a regular/standing hair appointment, we ask that you try to call 72 hours in advance.

No Show Policy:

Clients are asked to give at least 48 hours notice prior to an appointment when requesting to make an appointment or schedule change. A client who does not give the appropriate amount of notice or does not keep the intended appointment (No Call/No Show) will be charged for the amount of the service reserved or a $25.00 fine depending on the duration of time it would take to perform the service that you had reserved..


All appointments are scheduled according to their estimated durations. Please arrive within a 5-10 minute time range of your appointment. Arriving too late deprives you of your reserved service time and could result in the rescheduling of your appointment.


Weekday Evenings (Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays) are the Salon's most highly requested and busiest times. So that we may give you more flexible scheduling options, please schedule as far in advance as possible, if you would like to reserve an appointment during these times. As with any of our services, a fixed appointment (known as a standing) can be reserved for an entire year. Please ask when scheduling your appointment for more information.

Payment Options

We accept checks and cash for Salon Services and Products.  For Group Appointments (Weddings, All Day Spa, Parties etc.) you may use Credit Card or ATM Card.

Gift Certificates

Gift Certificates can be purchased at Hiz & Herz Salon or on our website.  You can also request that your Gift Certifiacate be specially designed for whom you are purchasing it for as well as have it detailed for the occassion (Birthdays, Weddings, Valentines Day, Etc..). Gift Cirteificats are not redeemable for cash or credit.


There is a off street private parking lot right in front of the building for salon & spa clients.


Hiz and Herz Salon Welcomes Children, We  offer cartoons, coloring books, and toys to entertain children while mom or dad get their service. For the safety of the children who visit our salon, the  respect of other clients, and due to Safety Rules And Regulations, We do ask that children DO NOT go unsupervised.  Must be 18 years or older to receive a massage. If under the age of 18,  we advise client to have a parent or guardian’s consent.

Returned Check Fee

All checks returned to the salon marked by the bank "Non-Sufficient Funds" will be assessed a $50.00 fee.

Product Shipment

Don't make an extra drive into the salon just to buy products. For a nominal shipping charge we can send them to you via UPS. Just phone, text or e-mail us with your order.

Clients wishing to reserve multiple spa services will be asked to secure their visit with a down payment of at least 50% of the total cost of the services, by cash, check, or credit card.
